Back at it...

Okay, time to get back to the blog so all you out there can keep up with my kiddos when you can't see them everyday. So here's what we've been up to lately:

We just celebrated Ollie's first birthday. The last year has flown by and he is such a big boy! We had lots of friends over and had a blast. The best part of the party was seeing all the kids and Ollie running around playing in the beautiful sunshine. We couldn't have asked for a better day.

For those of you who don't know, Ella has been going to St. Bernard's Preschool since September. It is so awesome to see her playing and learning every day and she even wears a uniform. El is also playing basketball on Saturdays and loves it even if she needs a little encouraging now and then! She is growing up so fast!

A child's work is never done!

As most of you know, we recently purchased a new house that had a lot of work that came with it. Ella has been a champ by being patient and playing by herself while we work and my mom and sister even came down to help us. Uncle Galen has been a great asset to us even though he is only half-steam since his surgery. Here are some cutie pie pics of Ella helping us prepare! Coral came over one day and helped us, too.

Peter Cottontail

On Saturday, we went to St. Joseph's fundraiser Peter Cottontail. There were so many kids there and they had a lot of activities to keep them all entertained. We played carnival games, had a great lunch, there was a dutch and silent auction and when we were leaving we got flowers and Ella got Easter eggs and candy. The only thing I am disappointed about is that there wasn't an actual egg hunt. Oh, well. We had lots of fun anyway! And it was for a good cause!

Elizabeth and I recently went to a Mommy's night out when Ryan was out of town. Coral came over to play and Cliff stayed home with the girls. They have so much fun together and it is neat to see how much they have grown compared to when they were babies and didn't really play much. Here are some pictures of when they were babies and now.

Ella and Daddy's trip to the snow.

It's been over a month already since I've posted on here. Work has kept me busy and time is flying by! We just got our bid accepted on a new house so that is going to take up a lot of time and energy in the next few months but it will be worth it.

Daddy and Ella decided to go up to Kneeland and play in the snow. It was really deep and windy up there. Daddy said Ella could barely stand up. They even brought some home so I could see Ella play with it. Cliff is a great daddy and Ella loves playing with him.

Ella's little friend since birth is Coral. It has been amazing to see them grow up together and go from sleeping during play dates to actually playing during play dates. Cliff and I went on our first adult only date two weeks ago and El went to Coral's house to play. She had a great time! She also goes over there just to play and have fun. Here are some pictures from those play dates.

Let the sunshine in...

We had beautiful sunshine in this area for a week and a half. It is now gone. :( Everyday, we would get our shoes on and Ella would run around in the front yard checking out the neighborhood and soaking up the sun. On Monday, we went to the park with our friend Kristy and her pup Finn and El just ran around in the grass. She had a lot of fun and I enjoyed some sunbathing. It's so nice and so rare to be able to sit in the sun.
